Dr Simon Ravichandran
Dr Simon Ravichandran MBChB MRCS is a Global Key Opinion Leader in Aesthetic Medicine. He graduated from Glasgow University in 2002 and obtained his MRCS from the Glasgow college. He pursued a career in ENT surgery, with a specialist interesting Facial Plastic Surgery. He is the Co-Director of the Scottish Clinetix chain of medical aesthetic clinics, the Scottish Aesthetic Training Academy and the Association of Scottish Aesthetic Practitioners. He has played an active role in the development of the Masters Degree Program in Aesthetic Medicine with Northumbria University and remains as a postgrad clinical mentor. He has also had academic roles as a senior moderator for Independent Qualifications (IQUAL) for the Level 7 Qualification in Aesthetic Medicine and as a faculty member of the Dundee Facial Plastics courses at Ninewells Hospital. Simon was presented with the Medical Practitioner of the year award UK in 2018 at the Aesthetic Awards London and has been listed twice in the 100 Global Aesthetic Leaders book. His clinic chain has won over 30 awards and accolades including Best Clinic UK, Best Clinic Scotland for 3 consecutive years and most recently Best Clinic Chain UK and Ireland. He is the co-author of two clinical books and currently divides his time equally between his family, his clinical practice and his educational roles. Simon currently lives in Bothwell Scotland with his wife Emma and his three Sons.
